AICFB NATIONAL JUNIOR CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP FOR THE VISUALLY CHALLENGED, 2023

AICFB National Junior Chess Championship for the Visually Challenged 2023 will be held in Latur, Maharashtra from 03rd November to 05th November, 2023. This Championship is jointly organized by All India Chess Federation for the Blind and Cricket Association for the blind of Maharashtra. Please note that only selected players are allowed to participate in this championship.

Venue: Government School for the Blind, Labour Colony, Latur, Maharashtra 413512.

Lodging & Boarding will be provided from 02nd November (Evening) to 05th November (Evening) 2023.

The Final function will be held on 05th November at 4 pm for which the attendance of all participants is compulsory.

Rules and regulations

  1. Every state will make two teams of four players.
  2. Each team’s fourth board is reserved for a female player, if the State does not have any female player then they have to play with 3 players only. In such situation 4th board point is given to their opponent team.
  3. if the state want to send an extra team it should send a request to AICFB On or Before 15th October, 2023. Based on request obtained those state will get extra team which has more number of rated players in their State in comparison. All States has to confirm how many teams they are sending on or before 15th October
  4. Every state must send their entry of team on or before 15th November, 2023.
  5. If a player is unable to play due to any unforeseen circumstance or any illness or an accident, the team can change the player with another player on or before 3rd December.
  6. Only the state body will send the entry to AICFB, no individual entry will be entertained

The Final function will be held on 10th December at 3 pm for which the attendance of all participants is compulsory.
